Construction carries the Underwriters' Laboratory Class 350 1 hour ''Record Protection Classified as to Fire and impact Resistance'' label. FireKing vertical files are ULlisted to protect paper records through the following tests: 1 hour fire test in external temperatures over 170 degrees Fahrenheit, a 1550 degree Fahrenheit fire plus 30 foot impact test and a 2000 degree Fahrenheit explosion hazard test.There is additional insulation between all drawers to make each drawer a separate insulated container. The file is finished with a durable powdercoat finish.
